LET’S START WITH PEOPLE: HEALTH INNOVATION IN SURREY
The challenge
The health of people is not primarily determined by the quantity or quality of health care provision, but rather by the wider health, wealth and social functioning of local communities. These social determinants of health are vital to unlocking wellbeing in our communities and to making a positive difference in the real world. In 2019, we were commissioned by Ashford and St. Peter’s Hospital to take on what would become a six-year project to build an integrated, 360 degree approach to health in the North West Surrey area and share the learning across a whole system.
