OUR SYSTEM LEADERSHIP APPROACH

A systems leader is a purpose and values-driven leader who works effectively across organisational boundaries, building connections and driving positive change through their practice and their team.

Systems leaders act as connectors and catalysts for collective local action and they drives large-scale systemic change by working across team, organisational and sectoral boundaries.

Systems leaders possess a unique set of skills and attributes that enable them to address complex, interconnected challenges that cannot be solved by any single organisational entity alone.

Does any of this look and feel familiar? If so, you’re in the right place. Let’s talk.

We work with systems leaders who shape organisational cultures that foster collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

We support our clients to create environments where diverse perspectives are valued, where learning flourishes, and where people are empowered to apply new ways of working across boundaries to achieve shared outcomes.

By modelling and embedding these practices, they cultivate lasting cultural change that enables systems to adapt, evolve and perform sustainably.

As leaders, we need the capacity and capability to both lead strategically and manage operationally. We need to be able to work effectively both as leaders, and within teams

We know that building team and individual resilience is essential. Our team can help create a dynamic which balances inclusion and psychological safety through listening to staff, customers and patients, whilst also delivering quality and performance in a tight financial environment.

We understand both the public and private sector and the transformational changes required to ensure sustainability and are driven by the values of excellence, integrity and investment in teams and people.

    ● Analyse their own contexts and describe the nature of the issues they are facing to determine where system leadership would be appropriate.
    ● Explain the value of system leadership and be able to share this with others.
    ● Reflect on their leadership styles and behaviours and contrast these with those necessary in systems leadership.
    ● Engage and build relationships with others in order to share perspectives, be curious about differences and build a shared purpose.

By the end of the programme, organisations, paces and systems will:

    ● Have an increased understanding and capability within each organisation around what it means to work at a system level.
    ● Increase collaboration across organisations.

Their skill in challenging, reflecting back critical issues in a way that helped me to reflect as a leader and senior manager about how I was going to implement the changes required. The coaching has positively built my confidence – at a difficult time for me and the organisation. I’ve been connecting with lots of people who have helped me massively, including senior people in the NHS and Liverpool City Council. It’s grown from me having one other member of staff, to now having six, so I can focus more time on business development.”

OUR SYSTEM LEASDERSHIP APPROACH

We help organisations and systems grow strong connected leadership and a collaborative culture that adapts to complex challenges and delivers real impact for the people in local communities.

We have extensive experience in the diagnostic, design, delivery and evaluation of bespoke packages of learning – academic, accredited and non-award bearing programmes.

We recognise that every system and organisation has their own particular priorities, context, history and drivers that must be considered.

We work in a participative, facilitative and professional way, placing a strong emphasis on clear communication, feedback and liaison with our clients.

We are repeatedly the chosen OD partner for a number of organisations, working in a co-productive way with teams at all levels to support partnership working and leave a lasting legacy.

Some key drivers

When we enable individuals to be their ‘authentic selves’ by connecting with personal values and purpose through work, outcomes for individuals, teams, organisations and patients improve.

Our whole approach supports the creation of an open, honest and challenging culture, often against a challenging backdrop.

The methodologies, tools and techniques we use work because they are evidence-based and firmly rooted in sound academic theory, research and best practice, combined with our practical experience of conducting similar programmes.

“PROSPECT WERE OUR STRATEGIC OD PARTNER FOR SURREY ICS HEARTLANDS AS WE TRANSITIONED FROM CCG TO ICS, AND DELIVERED GOVERNING BODY AND EXECUTIVE TEAM DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES, ONE TO ONE COACHING, STAFF DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS, AND FACILITATED AND PROGRAMME MANAGED OUR OPERATING MODEL PROJECT. I FOUND THEM TO BE TO CREDIBLE, EXPERT, FLEXIBLE AND EFFECTIVE AND WOULD HIGHLIY RECOMMEND THEM AS AN OD PARTNER.”
